Mid Term at Airfield Estate
Embrace the great outdoors in the heart of Dundrum and take a nature walk together amongst the native woodlands. Grab a worksheet for the little ones to complete during their visit, which brings them on a journey to discover all about what is growing in the woodlands. This will be the first in a series of worksheets for the little ones to collect and create their own nature journal at home.
While you’re at Airfield, keep your eyes peeled for the new arrivals in the farmyard! Our Jersey calf, and Jacob lambs will be keeping warm and cosy in their stables.
Join in the drop in walk n’ talks and activities taking place on selected dates;
Storytime – Daily at 12:30 pm in the house
Trail sheet – Collect on your way in
Twig ID drop in session – Tuesday 22nd & Friday 25th at 10am, 12pm & 2pm (meet at farmyard)
Nobles of the woods guided walk – Tuesday 22nd & Friday 25th at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm (meet at farmyard)
Specimen trees guided walk – Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm (meet in sunken garden)
Visit from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm with last entry at 3:30 pm. Get your tickets from airfield.ie and while you’re visiting, share your visit on social media with the #LoveAirfield for a chance to win an annual pass for 4 people.
