Bloom In The Park
Bloom In The Park has become a national favourite and one of the most anticipated and spectacular gardening, food and family event on the Irish calendar.
There will be something for everyone at Bloom In The Park with wonderful gardens, floral displays, farmers market, entertainment stages, family fun zone and so much more. Bloom is a wonderful outdoor spectacle with so much to do and see. You will spend hours walking around taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Bloom In The Park will feature more than 20 superb show gardens from Ireland's top horticultural talent. The show gardens will be complemented by a spectacular floral pavilion featuring the best of Irish plants and flowers. There will be a garden forum with Ireland's top celebrity gardeners on hand to provide expert advice on planting and general gardening queries.
The show will again feature a cookery demonstration stage with some of Ireland's leading chefs, an Irish artisan food market for visitors to sample and buy some of the best Irish food and drink produce, a children's play area and an outdoor entertainment stage. Bloom will also feature a demonstration area hosted by the Crafts Council of Ireland offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy live demonstrations by Irish crafts people at work.

Imaginosity At Bloom
The Dublin Children's Museum will delight children and families with inspirational ideas for all ages throughout the Bloom Festival. Bringing creativity and fun to the fore, Imaginosity has designed platforms for visitors to work on interactive projects and produce imaginative art and garden creations that have mass appeal for children and can be tackled by the very young with help and older children unaided.
This year the Big Tent at Bloom in the Park will be packed with an exciting collection of children’s workshops that feature everything from using recycled art in your garden and making peanut rings for the garden birds; to potato stamp art and how to grow your own pasta sauce!
Children will also be invited to help build the Scented Garden and create a hide-a-way Willow Den.
Other exciting daily activities include puppet shows; storytelling tent; traditional street games; shopping at the squirrel market; sand pit fun; play dough tent and face painting. With over 14 different art and garden activities, there is something for all the family.

Irish Wildlife Trust
The Irish Wildlife Trust will be running a series of fun, hands on and interactive wildlife workshops throughout the five days of Bloom. From bug hunts and crafts to creating music about wildlife. We will also be providing information about how to make your garden wildlife friendly. There's something for everyone!

BirdWatch Ireland
Birdwatch Ireland will provide a fun environment at Bloom for children of all ages to learn about the wonders of birds. There will be games, art projects, competitions and bird mask-making, with special garden bird information packs for all the children who take part. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Dublin Zoo At Bloom In ThePark
Dublin Zoo will be popping along to Bloom in the Park. Through out the weekend some of Dublin Zoo’s friendly animals and keepers will stop by the engaging space to say hello. The Dublin Zoo Volunteer Team will also bring along some amazing Bio Facts for a more interactive educational experience.

Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations
The Federation of Irish Beekeepers' Associations will be located in Bloom's 'engaging spaces' for visitors to see an observation beehive as well as providing information on beekeeping today with modern hive and equipment, how to get started in the craft and a taste of different honeys. A unique experience for all visitors!

Mobile Farm At Bloom In The Park
At Bloom you also can meet a wide selection of farm animals. Agri Aware's Mobile Farm will be pitched in the Phoenix Park for 5 days during Bloom. The mobile farm is an exciting educational experience for non-farmers of all ages. Visitors will be introduced to the farm animals, hold them, feed them and learn about their role in the farm. The Mobile Farm optimises animal welfare by using a large selection of animals that are rotated and well rested between visits.

Artisan Food Market
The Food Market is now firmly established as a key attraction at Bloom. With over 40 artisan food producers, the market highlights the very best that small artisan producers from around Ireland have to offer. The producers themselves will be on hand to provide tastings and give tips on how to prepare tasty dishes using their products.
Arts And Crafts Zone
Irish Craft Guilds will once again host daily craft demonstrations such as felt-making, basket-making, ceramics and calligraphy. A fantastic opportunity to learn more about the craft processes, techniques of many different craft disciplines.
The Crafts Council of Ireland’s selected Retail Area at Bloom In The Park offers visitors the chance to shop and browse through a superb selection of crafted design products from Ireland’s leading Craft Artisans. Situated within the Grand Pavillion adjacent to the cafe, 30 Craft stands will showcase a wonderful array of craft. With such an exciting range of quality crafted design pieces there is sure to be something to suit all tastes and budgets. One not to be missed.

Bloom in the Park takes place in the Phoenix Park, Dublin from Thursday 3 June - Monday 7 June. Weekday tickets are valid for either Thursday or Friday and weekend tickets are valid for either Saturday, Sunday or Monday. You can save up to €5 buy booking in advance onlin at www.bloominthepark.com.

How To Get To Bloom In The Park
Bloom is situated on the grounds of the Visitor Centre in the Phoenix Park which is located off Chesterfield Avenue, the main road running from Parkgate Street to the Castleknock Gate.
- From Parkgate Street Bloom is located off Chesterfield Avenue to the right of the Phoenix Monument, after Áras an Uachtaráin.
- From Castleknock Gate Bloom is located before the Phoenix Monument, on the left hand side.
If travelling by foot
Chesterfield Avenue is the Pedestrian Entrance to Bloom. Please note that it takes approx. 20 minutes to walk from either Parkgate Street or Castleknock Gate to the Bloom event.
If travelling by car
Parking is available for visitors at a rate of €5. There are 2 car parks servicing Bloom visitors; Red Car Park A & Green Car Park B. Please follow the directional signage throughout the park.
- For City Centre Traffic please use Red Car Park A
- For M50 & North City Traffic please use Green Car Park B
If travelling by public transport
For the most convenient access to the Bloom event please avail of our courtesy shuttle bus running from Heuston Station to Bloom and back throughout the day.
The Red Line Luas runs from Connelly Station and Lower Abbey Street in the city centre directly to Heuston Station.
The No. 10 Bus from O'Connell Street will leave you to the North Circular Road Gate - Please note however that it is approximately 30 minutes walk from the NCR Gate to the Bloom event.
Please note that the Ashtown Gate will be closed for the duration of the Bloom event.
Parking At Bloom
Parking is available for visitors at a rate of €5. There are 2 car parks servicing Bloom visitors the Red Car Park A and the Green Car Park B. Please follow the directional signage throughout the park.
- Red Car Park A
Serving City Centre Traffic from the Main Gate (Parkgate Street) and the NCRGate. From the Main Gate (Parkgate Street) continue on to Chesterfield Avenue and take the first right off the roundabout. Continue to the end and take a right onto the Back Road and continue straight. Take a left onto Odd Lamp Road. Red Car Park A is located off this road. Do not continue up Chesterfield Avenue to the Phoenix Monument as this is a pedestrian entrance only.
- Green Car Park B
Serving North City & M50 Traffic from the Castleknock Gate and White's Gate. From the Castleknock Gate continue on to Chesterfield Avenue and take the first left off the roundabout (Mounjoy Cross). Continue along the back road till you reach the Ashtown Castle Gate. Green Car Park B is located here. Do not continue up Chesterfield Avenue to the Phoenix Monument as this is a pedestrian entrance only.
