The Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show 2016
The Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show will take place from the 20 -24 July 2016 over the entire RDS complex in the heart of Dublin. One of the top international equestrian events in the world, the Show is a wonderful day out for horse enthusiasts and families a like offering something for everyone.
From Live Music and Entertainment, award winning Crafts and Art Exhibitions, Children’s Entertainment, Fashion, Shopping Village with 300 stands, Restaurants, Bars and Snacks to the best in National and International show jumping, you won’t want to miss it.
Shop ‘til you drop in the exhibition halls with over 300 trade stands offering everything from aromatherapy to yo-yo’s. Sit back and enjoy the company of friends and family in one of the numerous food outlets and restaurants around the RDS.
Visit the Exhibition of work from Ireland’s leading craft designers and award – winning up-and-coming student artists. The Competitions are esteemed not only for their respective prize funds but for providing many of Ireland’s emerging craft makers with a valuable forum for gaining recognition while offering registered students of award-bearing art courses in Ireland a platform for showcasing works they might not have the opportunity to do so otherwise.
Cheer on the teams in the high speed Hunt Chase. Or simply rest your elbows on the rails of the Showing Rings and soak up the atmosphere.

The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup for award of the Aga Khan Trophy will take place on Friday 22 July.
The Land Rover Puissance will take place on Saturday 23 July.
The Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland will take place on Sunday 24 July.
Kid’s Entertainment At The Dublin Horse Show
The popular Kids’ Zone will keep kids busy with pony rides, fun inflatables, face painting, Billy Bubbles and magic shows
The Band Lawn Area also hosts many attractions for children!
Keep the kid’s entertained with the following activities in the Kid’s Zone:

- Puppets and street performers
For the ladies, the Blossom Hill Ladies’ Day on Thursday, July 21, promises fantastic prizes for ‘best dressed lady’, ‘most colourful outfit’ and ‘most creative hat’. For the well-dressed males, there is also a prize for ‘best dressed man’
Music and Entertainment
Every year the Horse Show provides the finest in music and entertainment to its patrons.
Enjoy the entertainment on the Band Lawn stage.
Dublin Horse Show Opening Times
The Public can enter the Show grounds via the RDS Concert Hall entrance from 7.00 each day of the Show. The Main Hall entrance will be open from 9.00 everyday.
Equestrian Exhibitors and the Public can enter the Show grounds via the Belvedere Gate from 7.00 each day.
The Show will close approximately a half hour after the last competition of the day has finished.
