Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival, is a fantastic annual fun-filled festival with music, drama, dance, heritage events, food & craft markets, country sports and plenty of good old-fashioned games for the children. This award-winning festival has something for everyone from young children to teenagers to adults.

A rural celebration in a contemporary town, Dunshaughlin’s annual Harvest Festival is a family event, packed with original and diverse entertainment, with top class professional musicians, drama, comedians, pub entertainment and much much more.

Main Events at Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival

Village Parade

On Sunday you will see the main street of Dunshaughlin come alive with a display of all that makes this village great. Local friends, family, clubs and some special guests will line the street in a parade of colour and fun. A sight not to be missed.

Inferno fire and light show

Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival is delighted to see the return of the very popular, very spectacular fire light and music show Inferno. This breathtaking show by Passepartout is set to amaze and thrill both young and old with their amazing spectacle that brings to life the element of fire.

Bui Bolg Street Theatre Costume making workshop

Are you feeling creative? Would you like to learn how to make street theatre costumes for Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival? Are you free to attend a 5 day workshop in Dunshaughlin? Are you willing to get your hands dirty whilst having fun and being creative?

€70 per person – 9.30am – 4.30pm daily. This workshop is part funded by grant funding from Meath County Council with all materials covered.

Buibolg’s recent projects include “The Dig in Diner” on RTE Junior, Mr Tayto for Largo Foods, the City of Brest “Marche de Noel,” Rojetc with Le Fourneau Creation Centre in France.

Local man and Arts Team Leader Brian Walsh who is an art teacher with the Ballyfermot College of Further Education will assist Colm Lowney at the workshop.
