East Clare Heritage Centre
Built in c 930 A.D., this church is the oldest in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales that is still in use.
Made of red sandstones, it has been described as the finest surviving speciment of the primitive type on the island. There is a permanent Brian Boru exhibition at the Centre, an audio visual presentation and a folk museum.
