Halloween Horror Express
At the Cavan and Leitrim Railway in Dromod, they offer an exciting alternative to the traditionally Halloween Trick or Treating, the Halloween Horror Express.
You can ride the Ghost Train which passes through a haunted graveyard, passed Dr. Frankensteins workshop, The Three Witches (Weyward Sisters) who are brewing a vile potion of some sort, and many more spooky scenes. Then if the train survives being attacked by headless ghosts and zombies you can then make you way back to the Station yard where there are many activites such as face painting, bonfires, scariest costume contest, kiddies disco and to end with a fireworks display.
Each journey takes approximately 25 minutes and covers about 1km
