The Hugh Lane Dublin City Gallery is launching a selection of kids summer camps this July and August. Hugh Lane offer the following programmes for Summer Camps.

- July Summer Camp For 11 year old
Summer Camp 1. - Artists use lots of different styles and art techniques to express themselves. Join artists Janine Davidson, Kitty Rogers and Emma O'Toole in exploring diverse media from painting, to experimenting with print-making to even making your own hand held cameras.

- July Summer Camp For 6 - 10 year old
Summer Camp 2. - During this art camp you will create your own detailed stained glass window inspired by Harry Clarke and other great Irish stained glass artists. But first you will look at light, colour, glass and lenses and how they all work together. Than you will make your own rainbows and draw them. You will also look at meteorites and try to see the connection between glass

Summer Camp 3. - Whether you are a first time artist or someone hoping to get the heads up on their portfolio preparation, this introduction to drawing for teenagers with artist Sarah O'Brien will explore basic and experimental approaches to drawing including drawing from the figure, collage and sketching in the gallery spaces.

Summer Camp 4. - Animal Magic with artists Barbara O'Connell and Kitty Rogers
Have you ever noticed the shiny lion's head door knocker at the entrance to the Gallery or teh graceful thoroughbred horse by Edgar Degas? From fabulous fish to fantastical dragons to Pegasus flip books, get creative and be inspired by Animal Magic during this fun summer camp.
