The children’s theatre Lambert Puppet Theatre in Dublin is the only purpose built puppet theatre in Ireland.
The Lambert Puppet Theatre is proud to present incredible productions of classic fairy tales which are great fun for all the Family. Almost everyone knows these stories – but they are one of those stories that you can hear again and again, Little red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk and lots more.
With original music and songs, stunning effects and humor, these productions are the best in the Lambert Puppet Theatre long history and features the best of puppetry, staging and special effects. A lot of fun for the kids and all the family.

Lambert Puppet Theatre Birthday Parties
They are available for hire for parties and they take place upstairs in the purpose designed party room where several groups can be seated comfortably and looked after by the theatre staff.

Kids Birthday Party Timetable
- 15.15 Children delivered to the Theatre by parents.
- 15.30 performance – duration 90 minutes with 10minutes interval
- 17.00 The Birthday Party
- 17.45 Party bags distribution and children collected by parents.
Please note if a visiting puppet company is performing at Lamberts then Party Timetable may vary.
Familyfun Tip
- Pizzas can be ordered by the Box Office staff for prompt delivery to your party, this leaves you only with bringing the Birthday Cake and small treats. Their emphasis is more on entertainment than on food.

Lambert Puppet Workshop
Puppet Making and Demonstration Workshops can be catered for at the Theatre by arrangement, tailored to suit your needs. For example Children Workshops, Transition Year Workshops and Adult Workshops.
Lambert Theatre For Schools
The Lambert Puppets operates the whole year through. A special performance can be arranged for groups of 80 children or more at any time of the year. The main school tour season takes place in the months of May and June.
