Leenane Cultural Centre
Interactive centre based on local sheep industry and wool handcrafts. Demonstrations of carding, spinning and weaving with informartion on plant dyes. The history of sheep is shown as various live breeds of sheep can be viewed in a beautiful setting overlooking Killary Harbour. Local history are highlighted in a continuous audio-visual display in mutliple languages.
