Mourne Trail Riding Centre is a family run horse riding excursions set, in the beautiful surroundings of the Mountains of Mourne. Does not cater for beginners! Children must be at least ten years of age and be competent riders.

They only cater for people who can ride so that they can offer customers the experience and enjoyment of interesting riding on quality Irish Hunters as these horses require riders with a reasonable amount of experience.

The treks  follow routes through the beautiful Mourne countryside. Quiet country roads, lanes, and beautiful forest scenery in Tullymore Forest Park are the order of the day. The two hour ride through Tullymore is about 9 - 10 miles long and takes you on forest tracks up the foothills of the Mournes.

For those of you who want to spend more than two hours in the saddle it is possible to organise a four hour Pub Ride for small groups - two sessions of two hours split by lunch in the village pub where you can sample some of the local ’culture’.

Even beach rides may be organised, but only for very experienced riders and subject to tides, etc.
