Nore Valley Park Open Farm
Nore Valley Park Open Farm Kilkenny has operated as an open pet farm and caravan park since 1989 and attracts many families and groups each year. There are a whole variety of animals to see and enjoy.
The farm is a nostalgic trip to the past or a new experience in the idyllic Nore Valley. You can take time out and stroll around the farm, allow the children to play in an interactive and relaxing setting. Bottle feed lambs or goats and feed ducks and turkeys as well as learn about your Irish heritage of farming.
As well as animals to see at Nore Valley Park Open Pet Farm there is a playground, sandpit with diggers, straw play area and Giant chess to keep the children entertained. You can relax with a cup of tea and home baked scone or biscuits.
Even in wet weather there is still plenty of fun to be had, with indoor facilities to amuse the entire family. You can stay as long as you like - a few hours or the whole day.

Easter Fun Event
Each year the Easter egg hunt is a big family dayout. It is held on the Saturday a week before Easter and is a great days fun for all the family with loads of eggs to be found.

Nore Valley Park Open Farm School Tours
Teachers and group leaders free. This includes a guide for each class (around 30 children) for the entire 2-hour visit. This includes picnic or barbecue and play.
Tours are geared to suit different age groups from pre-school to 3rd level students. Bring your own picnic or order a simple barbecue lunch consisting of sausages or burger in roll & salad trimmings, carton of natural fruit juice, an apple and chocolate biscuit bar. Tea/coffee provided free for teachers and coach drivers.
Nore Valley Camping And Caravan Park
Nore Valley Camping And Caravan Park is a family run site which is located in a quiet, peaceful valley and is personally supervised at all times. A high standard of cleanliness is a priority throughout site and amenities.
There are Free showers and hot water. It is situated on the Nore Valley Pet Farm . Patrons have free access to the farm and children are encouraged to assist in animal feeding.
There is lots to do with river walk through farm and woodland, children's play area, sandpit with diggers and chess all free. Also at extra charge poolroom, crazy golf, pedal go-karts, trailer rides and 3D indoor maze. Within10 km swimming, fishing, canoeing, golf, craft shops, horse riding and many historical sites.

Nore Valley Park Open Farm Direction
Nore Valley Park is situated 11 km from Kilkenny and 3.2 km from Bennettsbridge.
From Kilkenny take R700 to Bennettsbridge. Just before bridge turn right at sign, then after 3.2km turn left at sign.
From Waterford Rd. (N10) At Ennisnag crossroads, turn right at sign 2km from the crossroad. Turn right at sign.

when we were at the ,the nore vally park, i found it to be the very best place to bring children to see animals at a pet farm, as they can get up close to them, the open spaces for the animals is second to none, this to me is how childern should see pet farms, the family that run the farm are brillant with familys
