Rugbytots Activities For Toddlers Nationwide

Rugbytots is a structured play programme for kids based around the game of rugby. The programme helps develop a child’s physiological and physical abilities by combining cognitive functions with themed Rugby exercises. These rugby specific skills include running with the ball, finding space, kicking, catching, scoring a try and much more. These programmes are totally engaging for the children and are really good fun!

All the lead coaches are paediatric first aiders; Garda Vetted and trained to a very high standard to ensure your children enjoy their time at Rugbytots in a safe and organised environment.
Rugbytots have carefully developed a class structure which is used for all of the age groups, and emphasises the elements of Rugby. Their programme contains over 300 games so your child will always have something new to look forward to!
  1. Warm Up – Using colour cones, coach asks children to ‘Rush’ to the colour called
  2. Catching/ Passing – Children roll the ball to one another in pairs for the ‘Perfect Pass’
  3. Relay – Obstacle course (moving in and out of cones, scoring try in a hula hoop)
  4. Kick – Covert together (coaches move goal posts so each child attempts a conversion)
  5. Game – Relay between teams

Rugby tots covers 3 age groups from the ages of 2 – 7, these include:

  1. 2 – 3½ years of age (Toddlers Class duration for this age group is 40 minutes)
