Get the Christmas season started in style with a 5k or 10K Santa Dash Fun Run
Santa Dash are working with various different Charities this year based on who the volunteers wish to donate money to.
Santa Dash in Dublin is inviting families and friends to embrace their inner Santa and take part in the annual 5K and 10 k fun run Santa Dash to help raise vital funds to help support various different Charities across Ireland
They are encouraging families and friends to get dressed up in their Santa gear and join them on the beach on North Bull Island. It is a great family day out and all for a good cause.
Mr Claus said: “It’s really important to me to be fit and healthy, especially with my busiest night of the year fast approaching. Last year’s Santa Dash was fantastic with over 1,500 boys and girls and their mammies, daddies and friends joining in. This year, it’s set to be even bigger and I’m really hoping to take the prize for the ‘fastest Santa’ – that would be magic!”
As part of the entry, each participant gets a Santa suit, post race tea, biscuits and snacks, an awesome Christmas themed medal and all children get a visit with Santa.
It really should be a sight to behold – hundreds of Santa’s running on Bull Island beach ! The day itself is a great opportunity for families, friends and colleagues to get together and have a lot of fun whilst also raising funds for a good cause.
The course is suitable for runners and walkers of all ages and four legged friends all welcome too!
Family Fun Tip:- Not great for runners with buggies or children on scooters due to been held on a beach
Race Expo – Number and Santa Suit Collection:
All entrants can collect their Santa Suits and Goody bags at the Race Expo: – Saturday 30 November between 12pm – 5pm at the Cyclesuperstore in Tallaght
People travelling from outside of Dublin may collect their Santa Suits at the start line on the morning of the race from 10am to 11.45am.
Family Fun Tip – Santa Suits:
Suits are included in your entry fee and must be worn. Anyone finishing the race who is not in Santa costume will not be eligible for prizes or medals.
Visit Santa at Santa Dash
The “Real” Santa will be in his igloo down on the beach for all the children to visit. Any Children who officially entered and ran the race can visit him and get a free Christmas Present. Children who were only spectating can also visit him for €5 fee and get a present as well.

Online entry will close when they have hit the maximum number, but you can still register at the expo and on race day, if there is still space available. This year entries are limited to 1,500
