Temple Bar TradFest

In 2013 the festival will be bigger than ever with 6 days and 6 nights of trad, music, dance and craic. The festival features over 200 free events, an outdoor stages, family programme, children’s club, street performers, pipe bands, music trail and much more. Experience Irish and International music talent in some of Dublin’s most iconic venues like Christ Church Cathedral, St Patrick’s Cathedral and the glorious rotunda of City Hall.

They have a big Family programme which is packed with fun for all the family from Wooly Ward’s Farm, to Fuinneamh Bounce to theatre performances and storytelling. There are two FREE outdoor stages with Irish dance and music on, the Tudors Exhibition and Book of Common Prayer Exhibition. The New Theatre is holding IMRO master classes with John Spillane and Charlie Lennon. They will also have some great crafty workshops at The Ark and you are invited to see the treasures in the IFI vaults!

Entertainment will be wandering the streets of Temple Bar including the unicyclist and daredevil Ross O’Brien, acrobatics expert Hakuna Matata and juggling King Johnny Phelan.

Temple Bar Chocolate Festival

Temple Bar Chocolate Festival will take place from October 30 – November 1.

Visit the Temple Bar Chocolate Festival Chocolate Fair in Meeting House Square with up to 20 stalls including 12 chocolate artisan producers from around the country, hot chocolate, good coffees, chocolate pastries and even a savory chocolate stall.
