A fantastic new WhistleBlast Family Festival of music in Belmullet during Halloween week full of great music and entertainment accompanied by brilliant hospitality in this beautiful and wonderful part of Ireland nominated “Best Place to Go Wild”. WhistleBlast will entertain all the family with fun filled performances including one afloat!! Interactive workshops for all ages-Day of the Dead, Meet the Saxophones, Music Slide Show! All workshops are FREE!
World Class Pianist Finghin Collins will perform a solo recital in Belmullet’s Fabulous Theatre Áras Inis Gluaire for serious classical listeners-this Concert will include a performance of a new composition by WhistleBlast’s Andrew Synnott for Finghin and the Quartet. Finghin will also host a public Masterclass which aspiring pianists.
Great local musicians Kieran Munnelly and Redmond Connolly will perform with their groups. Children from Belmullet National School will perform a short feature in the Magical Music Mix Concert.
Also Horror Dessert Making for children with Margaret Lynch, Chocolatier and director of famous Dublin based Couverture Desserts and a Ghostly Gastronomics dinner for the adults with some strange spot lit pop-up performances at the sound of the GONG!
WhistleBlast will be performing throughout the Festival and along with all the musicians.
