Country Quads

Country Quads Are No Longer In Business

Country Quads in Tinnecarrig, Borris, Co. Carlow can cater for all members of the family, from the child to adult. The course is suitable for all age groups – while adults tackle the tougher, rougher, parts of the track, the kids can enjoy their own special areas. The course itself is suitable for first-timers with more challenging areas for the more experienced.

The trails at Country Quads were developed using many of the natural features of the farm and cover approximately 100 acres of beautiful countryside with fabulous views over the Barrow Valley along the way.

Every aspect of customer needs is catered for by Country Quads. There is a practice course to allow beginners to familiarise themselves with the ATVs and each group of six riders on the course is accompanied front and rear by management personnel.

Located in rugged, beautiful countryside on a working farm near Borris in Co Carlow, a day at Country Quads is ideal for family or group trips alike. This very unusual on-farm enterprise operates side by side with the running of an efficient dairy farm together with a successful beef enterprise.

There is an impressive clubhouse where participants get kitted out and instructed prior to the one hour long adventure. Special safety helmets are provided, and as it is an all-weather pursuit, riders are advised to dress for a mucky occasion.

The clubhouse is equipped with showers so that the accumulated muck at the end of the day can all be washed off! Showers and toilets are in place and refreshments and barbecue facilities are also available.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

While Clay Pigeon Shooting is a recognised Olympic sport, that doesn’t mean it requires a great deal of skill to just shoot for fun, and the sport can be enjoyed by anyone, young or old, male or female. All that’s needed is a suitable gun and location and a little tuition, and in no time you’ll be having the time of your life.

The Shooting Cinema

This Shooting Cinema is the latest and newest activities available at Country Quads.
