The Music Room Courses
Piano lessons
Piano lessons are one on one and student-focused, allowing the class to move at the student’s own pace. Elements of piano lessons include reading music notation, studying music theory, perfecting playing techniques, and developing musicality and expression. A wide range of styles are covered including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, Popular, and Jazz. Piano classes are tailored to each student’s personal aim for their lessons.
Piano lessons are open to all levels and ages, from 5 yrs to 70 +!
Guitar lessons
Guitar lessons are one on one and student-focused, allowing the class to move at the students own pace. Elements of guitar lessons include studying chord patterns and music theory, mastering scales, perfecting strumming and plucking techniques and developing listening and performing skills. A wide range of styles are covered including Pop, Rock, Irish, Blues, Folk, and Jazz. Guitar classes are tailored to each student’s personal aim for their lessons.
Guitar lessons are open to all levels and ages from 5 yrs to 70 +!
Singing Lessons
Singing lessons are one on one and student-focused, enabling the teacher to explore and discover each student’s unique voice. Elements of singing lessons include vocal warm ups to build on vocal skills and range, breathing exercises to maintain good breathing control, and repertoire building for a range of styles, from Opera to Pop and Jazz. Singing lessons are tailored to each student’s personal aim for their lessons.
Singing lessons are open to all levels and ages from 5 yrs – 70+!.
