Spookley the Square Pumpkin Programme
Head on down to Arboretum and have a spooktacular Halloween with Spookley the square pumpkin! Arboretum, Home & Garden Heaven will host a week of Spookley family fun from the 25th-31st of October and will feature endless exciting activities for Halloween such as; story-telling, a movie room and delicious in store Halloween treats.
About the Spookley Programme
Arboretum has joined the Spookley the Square Pumpkin Programme which is a programme designed to raise awareness of bullying. Spookley was first introduced to millions of children in the United States in the book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, in which he is bullied by all of the round pumpkins until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire pumpkin patch and only Spookley, with his unique shape, can save the day. Spookley is the number 1 anti-bullying campaign in the USA and is set to take the UK & Ireland by storm.
Spookley storytelling will be open to the public of all ages with David Donohue, who is a hugely popular, best-selling, Carlow born, children’s author and has published three highly acclaimed books featuring his backwards-spelling hero, Walter Speazlebud
