Little Makers is a creative social and learning club delivering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) education for 3-12 year olds in a fun and challenging environment. If your child loves to design, build and express their creativity through hands on learning, they have options that are sure to challenge and delight. Little Makers run weekday and weekend clubs, school break camps, and once off themed workshops – for Little Builders, Little Modellers and Little Engineers. They also combine the 3 topics for certain events.

Every activity they run will enhance your child’s problem solving skills, creativity, teamwork ability, understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths (“STEAM”) and Architecture concepts in a fun and challenging environment.

Little Makers clubs, camps and workshops cover the midlands and midwest of Ireland. There cam be held in classes in community centres, schools, libraries, hotels and other public venues.

Little Makers offers kids a place to plug in their imaginations and immerse themselves in crafting fun.

Little Builders

The core focus of the Little Builders program is on building a range of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) skills.

Little Makers hold afterschool clubs, weekend clubs and Summer camps for all Little Builders

Lego(r) Skills

Children will improve their lego skills by learning new brick building skills.

Team Building Skills

Teamwork is a highly social activity and involves much interaction and exchanging of ideas and actions – strengthening social, emotional and communication skills  – and helping develop confidence. Children carry out individual as well as team based challenges throughout the workshops.

Social Skills

Through a relaxed and fun environment, children learn social skills such as positive interaction with others, appropriate behaviour and turn taking.

Creative Development

Creative activities help children to develop attention skills and cognitive learning. Their imagination is in full use and it encourages them to come up with new ideas and to think outside of the box since creativity involves exploration and problem solving.

Little Modellers

Little Makers run clay modelling classes in an educational environment, helping to increase achievement across the board, including – increased concentration, spatial awareness, building confidence, creative expression, hand-eye coordination, relaxation and discussion of concepts and ideas.

The modelling clay used is designed specifically for kids to get creative with. It air dries naturally, it’s non messy and non toxic, and can be mixed into any colour just like paint.

Little Inventors

The Little Inventors Club curriculum is currently being developed and Little Makers aim is to develop learning opportunities for the engineers of tomorrow.
