Portlaoise St Patricks Day

Portlaoise will be packed with St Patrick’s Day activities along with over a dozen parades all around Laois.

Portlaoise parade starts at 12.30pm with a large number of floats and clubs expected to take part. There will also be bouncy castles, a carnival, Jeca The Clown, live music on the bandstand, and market stalls.

There will be numerous floats, music, entertainment, trade stands, Irish dancing and much, much more again on  Tuesday, March 17.

The committee thanks everyone involved in helping to ensure the parade will be a successful event, with particular thanks to Laois County Council. The committee are also delighted that Laois Volunteer Centre will help in sourcing volunteers to help with a collection day as well as stewarding on the day of the parade.

The Parade will commence from Laois County Council at 12.30 pm on Tuesday, March 17 and going up the Main St (from the bottom to the top square) and is expected to finish at 2 pm.
