Spirit of Enniskerry Festival

The spirit of Enniskery Festival is taking place in Enniskerry village throughout the weekend 23rd & 24th May. The Food & Art Festival is taking place in conjunction with the 300th birthday celebrations of The Powerscourt Arms and promises to be action packed with lots of activities for the whole Family.

Food, Art exhibitions, historical exhibition, live music, garden of Ireland vintage car rally, talent competition, kids magic show & lots more.

An action packed weekend for the whole family to enjoy.

The festival is kicking off on the Friday night with a fundraising event for Enniskerry GAA in The Marquee with live music throughout the evening.

On Saturday there will be an Art Exhibition, Craft Stalls, Food Stalls, Historical Exhibition, Talent Show & Live music.

On Sunday along with the food and art they are running a family magic show and kids Bake fest. Also on Sunday they are really looking forward to welcoming the garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club to the village at lunchtime followed by entertainment by The Garda Band on the town clock throughout the afternoon.

There will be music with Frankie & Gary in the marquee on Sunday evening to wrap up this year’s festival.

  • 11-9pm – Art Exhibition in Schoolhouse for Art
  • 11- 6pm – Artisan Food & Craft Stalls around village centre
  • 11-6pm – Car display courtesy of Spirit Motor Group
  • 11-6pm – History of Enniskerry Exhibition in Parochial Hall
  • 4pm – The School’s Walk returns to village and ceremony in Marquee
  • 4-6pm – Face Painter, glitter tattoo & balloon art in Powerscourt Arms car park
  • 4-11pm – Hot Food and Craft Beer stalls in/near Powerscourt Arms car park
  • 5-7pm – “MUSIC POWER 2015” our talent show featuring contestants selected from earlier auditions. Judging panel consisting of a music publisher, a producer and an artist. Great prizes for winners in under 16’s and over 16’s categories.
  • 9.30pm onwards – The band “Big Love” will play in Marquee and will include an auction for the Town Clock Restoration Fund

SUNDAY 24th MAY

  • 11-12.30pm – “Bake Off” with theme of childhood favourites, healthy eating and local produce in conjunction with local schools in marquee
  • 1-2pm – Parent & Child Interactive Magic Show in marquee
  • 1-5pm – East Coast Radio will broadcast from the village
  • 1pm onwards – Garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club will arrive in village and exhibit their range of classic cars
  • 3-5pm – The “Garda Band” will play from the Town Clock
  • 5.30-7pm – The “Frances Radic Speech & Drama School Showcase” in Marquee
  • 7pm – “Frankie & Gary” our local hero’s will play in Marquee
