Wicklow School Of Music And Drama

Wicklow School of Music & Dramaopened in October 2000 and offers tuition in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Keyboard and many group classes for adults and children alike.

The Speech and Drama courses bring out the children’s unique talents and encourage them to create their own productions for the end-of-term performances.

The school’s operating hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 – 9:00pm and Saturday between 9:30am and 5:00pm.

Shanti Ceol

Uses an alternative and very effective method to teach the elements of music AT PRE-INSTRUMENTAL LEVEL. The benefits go well beyond music education because yoga postures and philosophy are used to bind the course from start to finish.

The main aim of the course from 18 months all the way to seven years, is to prepare children for the study of an instrument.

The children will spend 50 minutes in a fun setting playing games, creating art projects and telling stories using yoga postures and dance

Term 2 commences Saturday, 10th January 2009 (17 weeks).

Age 2 to 3.5 years 11.20 am – 12.00 noon €9 per class

Group Drama/Theatre Studies

Kids to Teens- age 4 to 12 years Thursday: 4.30 to 6.00 pm €12 per class

Children’s Choir Thursdays 5.10 pm €8 per class

Combined Drama/Choir Thurs: 4.30 to 6.00 pm €13 per class

Drama: 4.30 to 5.30 pm

Choir: 5.30 to 6.00 pm

The summer camp is a fun, safe & educational camp for young children to nurture a love of music and learn about music literacy & concepts through dance, art and singing! You can take a break safe in the knowledge that they are having fun and being well taken care of
