How To Get To Leopardstown Racecourse

There are a number of options available when travelling to Leopardstown Racecourse. Car parking is free, but we do advise customers to allow ample time for the journey on racedays.

A complimentary shuttle bus service is offered on all race meetings from the Sandyford Luas stop. Additional services are provided from Blackrock Dart Station and Heuston station for major festivals. Look here for more information.

Get to Leopardstown by car

Leopardstown is very accessible by car, easily accessed from the M50. Take exit 15 off the M50 (cross the flyover if coming from south) and follow the signs for Leopardstown Racecourse. Parking is free so early arrival is advised on race days to ensure you get a spot. From Dublin city centre: Take the N11 (Stillorgan dual carriageway) heading towards the southeast, past Stillorgan. Turn right at traffic lights onto Leopardstown Road R113 signposted Leopardstown. Continue straight and Leopardstown’s entrance is on the left just before the traffic lights.

Get to Leopardstown by LUAS (tram)

The LUAS offers a regular service from Dublin City Centre to Sandyford that takes about 20 minutes. The racecourse is only a short walk from the Sandyford station and Leopardstown also provide a complimentary shuttle bus service on race days. The bus service runs 30 minutes prior to gate opening times until 30 minutes after the bars on site close. This service runs from car park A on the Leopardstown Road.
