When: Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July
What: Bring the kids (and your own inner child!) because Shrek is taking a break from the swamp and heading to the Treetop Walk. He’ll be making five 30-minute appearances throughout the day at the base of the Tower for photos and fun.
Included free with your Treetop Walk ticket or Annual Pass.
Paddy Casey Live at the Tower
When: Saturday 11th July
What: Imagine watching Paddy Casey perform an intimate 90-minute set right at the base of the View Tower as the summer evening rolls in. The Treetop Walk will reopen at 7:00 PM for a sunset canopy stroll toward the stage.
Top Tip: Grab a delicious bite or a drink at the Seed Café beforehand to bring along with you!
Incredible Bird of Prey Demonstrations
When: Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July
What: See these magnificent birds up close in a thrilling live demonstration at the base of the Tower.

Woodland Arts & Crafts Workshops
When: Weekends of July 11th–12th & 18th–19th
What: Beyond The Trees Are partnering with the brilliant folks at Leebow for relaxed, 90-minute family creativity sessions featuring clay, watercolours, and printmaking inspired by the forest.

Beyond the Trees Avondale is officially home to Ireland’s first outdoor wooden marble run!
Grab your wooden marble (€2 optional extra), race your friends and family, and watch it fly through more than 50 metres of twists, turns, and intricate wooden tracks. Best of all — you get to keep your marble as a special souvenir of your adventure!
Key Features of the Attraction
Massive Scale: The run spans 50 metres and consists of eight interconnected wooden tables.
Interactive Design: Includes suspended wooden channels, pathways, and pinball-style tables.
