Ardmore Pattern Festival

The annual Ardmore Pattern Festival is a week full of activities and entertainment for all the family, which is held in the seaside village of Ardmore, Co. Waterford. This is a Free Family Festival that runs for 7 days in July. There are several festival warm-up events planned for the week preceding.

The Festival celebrates the Feast of local patron (‘pattern’) saint, St. Declan of Ardmore, and consists of a fun-packed weekend of entertainment and activities for all the family. With free music, dance, sports, fireworks, live bands, games, artistic and historical tours and events, there’s something for everyone.

There’s live music outdoors on the Festival stage each night. The Festival kick-starts with a fabulous fireworks display on Friday night, and continues on through the weekend, with dozens of events and activities of all kinds.

Ardmore Pattern Festival has a wide and varied programme of high-quality events that will be attractive to both locals and visitors alike, showcasing Ardmore for the wonderful holiday destination it is. Hope to see you there.

Attractions At Ardmore Pattern Festival

There will be lots of attractions for all the family including Fireworks, Live music, street performers, book signings, Teddy Bears picnic, Festival Train, Mobile Farm, Pageant of St. Declan. Also due to the huge success of last year’s Family Fun Sponsored Walk, they have decided to repeat the event this year. All we can tell you that lots of fun and laughter is Guaranteed !

Activities At Ardmore Pattern Festival

Include Historical walks, kids workshops, penalty shoot out, climbing walls, zorbing and lots more. There will more that 70 events on over the course of the week.
