Arklow St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2017
There is nothing like The Arklow St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Savour the atmosphere as the everyone join in the fun with traditional music, colourful floats, dancing and craic. There will be a wide variety of floats and marching bands this year and fun for all the family while all are welcome.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start at 3pm. It is hope this years parade will take the usual route beginning at Yellows Lane than via Mellows Avenue, Navvy Hill, Abbey Street, Hudson’s Square and on to Main Street where it will disperse after it passes the platform at the Court House.
A number of cups and shields will be presented to winners in 12 categories including Best Float, Best Marching Group, Most Entertaining Group, Youth Award and Best Uniformed Group.
