Dublin Zoo Camps

Join the Dublin Zoo Camp Adventures for a wild and memorable experience. Each day has a unique theme and participants will experience educational and exciting Zoo activities. Dublin Zoo summer camps have become an integral part of the Zoo’s education calendar and designed to encourage the discovery and appreciation of wildlife. Campers will have the opportunity to make new friends and explore the Zoo while participating in games, crafts, behind the scenes tours, animal encounters and more.

Zoo camps are well supervised with trained zoo teachers. Camp is geared toward children who are eager to learn, follow directions and have fun.

Parent And Toddler Morning

This interactive programme includes a tour of Family Farm and a ‘discovery and learning’ session. So why not bring your toddler or infant to the Zoo for a morning of guaranteed fun! This is an event for parents, grandparents or carers with toddler children.

Dublin Zoo Camps Times And Prices

Dublin Zoo’s summer camps are designed for children aged 7 – 12 years old to have fun learning about the animals at Dublin Zoo, getting an introduction to conservation and gaining an overall appreciation for wildlife. This weeklong camp includes exciting hands-on activities, craft projects and adventures through the Zoo (no direct contact with animals).

Getting to Dublin Zoo

  •  Buses
10/10a, 25/25a, 66/66a/66b, 67/67a, 68, 69
Phoenix Park Shuttle Bus from Park Gate Street (beside Heuston Station). This service operates every 30 mins, 7 days a week -Weekdays 7am – 7pm / Weekends and Public Holidays 10am – 7pm. and takes  a circular route inside the park, stopping at Dublin Zoo, the Visitor Centre, the Papal Cross and Farmleigh. Yu can hop off and on at any stop.
  • DART
 Take the feeder bus no 90 from Connolly or Tara Street Dart Stations.
  • Luas
Take the Red Line to Hueston Station. The zoo is a 15 minute walk or hop on the Phoenix Park Shuttle Bus from Park Gate Street (beside Hueston Station).
The shuttle bus operates every 30 mins,7 days a week – Weekdays 7am – 7pm / Weekends and Public Holidays 10am – 7pm
