Great fun at Birr Castle Demesne Wild Connections Easter Camps. Let your kids connect with nature in the great outdoors under the guidance of their experienced educational team. Birr Castle Demesne biodiversity Easter camps will take place over two separate weeks in April.
Wild Connections Easter Camp
Birr Castle Demesne Wild Connections Easter Camps focus on biodiversity and are suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
There are limited spaces and unfortunately this camp is not suitable for children with limited mobility.
Sample activities include:
- Pond Dipping
- Bird Watching
- Nature Crafts
- Wellness Walk
- Flora Trail
Lunch and break times are included the schedule.
All children must bring their own packed lunch and notify, at the time of booking, of any allergies or medical conditions that could infringe on the ability to take part in the activities. Please dress for the outdoors and re-apply sun lotion to children in advance of the workshops.

Week 1: 3 – 6 April
Week 2: 11 -14 April
From 10.00-14.00 each day.
Camp Fees –
Cost: €60 per child

Easter Egg Hunt at Birr Castle Demesne 2023
Come to Birr Castle Demesne this Easter break and take part in their Easter Egg Hunt. On Easter Sunday 9th April and Easter Monday 10th April, they will have an “Easter Egg Hunt”. Along the Easter trail you will meet with The Easter Bunny and Friends. Once you complete the trail you can pick up your Easter Egg from the Mad Hatter…all going well!
