Creep and crawl to Leopardstown Racecourse this Autumn for a spooky day. There will be lots going on to keep the whole family entertained including exciting horse racing, bouncy castles, face painter, Halloween maze, treasure hunt, and spooky best dressed competition.

The GAIN The Advantage Series finale will also take place this weekend. This series aims to recognise all connections of the horse and the finale is sure to be an auspicious occasion.

Kids can enjoy HRI Racing Juniors activities, bouncy castles, face painters, spooky treasure hunt, and fancy-dress competition indoor soft play area and MORE!

It’s the ultimate day out!

There will be a free shuttle bus from Sandyford Luas before and after racing.

How To Get To Leopardstown Racecourse

There are a number of options available when travelling to Leopardstown Racecourse. Car parking is free, but we do advise customers to allow ample time for the journey on racedays.

They will be offering a FREE shuttle bus from Sandyford and Red Cow LUAS stops, and the Blackrock Dart Station
Green Line Luas to exit at the Sandyford Luas stop, we will be providing a shuttle bus from here to the racecourse from 10:30 to 20:45.

Red Cow Luas:

Pick Up: 11:30, 12:30 & 13:30.
Return: 18:00, 19:00 & 20:00.
Blackrock DART station

Pick Up: 11:30, 12:30 & 13:30.
Return: 18:00, 19:00 & 20:00.

Get to Leopardstown by car

Leopardstown is very accessible by car, easily accessed from the M50. Take exit 15 off the M50 (cross the flyover if coming from south) and follow the signs for Leopardstown Racecourse. Parking is free so early arrival is advised on race days to ensure you get a spot. From Dublin city centre: Take the N11 (Stillorgan dual carriageway) heading towards the southeast, past Stillorgan. Turn right at traffic lights onto Leopardstown Road R113 signposted Leopardstown. Continue straight and Leopardstown’s entrance is on the left just before the traffic lights.

Get to Leopardstown by LUAS (tram)

The LUAS offers a regular service from Dublin City Centre to Sandyford that takes about 20 minutes. The racecourse is only a short walk from the Sandyford station and Leopardstown also provide a complimentary shuttle bus service on race days. The bus service runs 30 minutes prior to gate opening times until 30 minutes after the bars on site close. This service runs from car park A on the Leopardstown Road.
