Easter Egg Hunt At Glenroe Farm
This Easter weekend down on the Glenroe Pet Farm in Wicklow they will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt races take part every 20 minutes or so throughout each of the three days with the first race at 10.30 am and the last at 5 p.m.
There are two different age groups for the egg races (group1) Age 6 and under – lower end of the playground, (group 2) Age 7 and over – beside the deer pen on the farm. Each child between the age of 2 and 14 will get a complimentary ticket at the admissions desk on their way into the farm to take part in an egg race.
There will be a puppet show (at 12 noon and 2 p.m.) each day in the Indoor Picnic Area. The Easter bunnies will be stopping by to say hello and face painting throughout the day.
There is also a Daddy and Mammy egg races – a must to take part in or watch from the sidelines! You’ll crack up at what goes in these races! Hillarious! Adult races throughout the day in the field beside the deer pen
Not only that, but it’s a good time to catch up with all the animals and pets after their Winter break and see who has new babies to show off! The outdoor playground has even more to offer this year.
The Easter bunny will be there for handshakes and get your photo taken.
Face painting and BBQ food – throughout the day
If you want to get away from all the madness you can take a leisurely stroll down the Nature Walk and relax in one of the gardens along the way.
