GloHealth Senior Track and Field Championships
The GloHealth Senior Track and Field Championships bring together the top competing Irish athletes to battle it out to become 2015 National Champion in their event.
The BEST of the BEST can be seen at the Morton Stadium, Santry, will host the thrilling two day event which runs on the 8th and 9th of August. With forty national titles up for grabs, the championships promises to be an exciting weekend of track and field action.
The GloHealth Senior Track and Field Championships is a wonderful family day out, where kids can come along, support Irish athletes and soak up the electric atmosphere of this national competition. This event will feature 500 Irish athletes who will battle it out to claim National titles across 40 different disciplines, including javelin, shot putt, pole vault and relay, among others.
While there, the kids can try their hand at the different sports involved in athletics at the GloHealth Mini Track and Field Fitzone. The GloHealth Fitzone will let kids experience the different disciplines involved in athletics and for those up to the challenge they can even see how they fare against Ireland’s best!
The event will be a great opportunity to bring along budding sports stars who will have a chance to meet some of Ireland’s finest athletes, including Olympic 2016 hopeful Mark English.
To top it all off kids under 16 go free and tickets for adults are only €10.
