It is a great family day out with lots to do on the farm: walk through an enchanted fairy trail, play board games in the Halloween decorated barn and meet some Alpacas while you pick your own pumpkin. There are Halloween selfie boards to catch those special memories. T
This is a fundraising event for the Down Syndrome Centre and we have partnered with K2Alpacas to bring this amazing event to you.
K2Alpacas Pumpkin Patch Information
Wander through and explore their enchanted Fairy Trail which leads to the farmyard where you can join in the fun and games in their hay barn. There are plenty of activities to keep the little ones amused – photo opportunities with Halloween and alpaca cut-out boards, ‘Farm Hands’ and decorations galore.
You will also get an opportunity to browse our Alpaca Farm Shop where the team have a great range of alpaca gifts. Yummy treats, hot chocolate, tea & coffee are also available.
Finally, you get to mingle with the alpacas in our amazing Pumpkin Patch where you can select your very own pumpkin to bring home and also grab that alpaca selfie! Early booking is advisable.

K2Alpacas Pumpkin Patch Experience
Duration of the experience – up to 1.5 hours.
Children under the age of 3 – go free! (no pumpkin included).
1 pumpkin is included per child ticket (No pumpkin included for the adult ticket)
Extra pumpkins are available to be purchased in the shop.
Arrival time is 10 minutes prior to the event start time
Car Directions
Google Maps, Sat Navs or Apple Maps can take you on unsafe roads. Best directions are:
Heading South from Dublin
on M11/N11 take Exit 12, signposted Newtownmounkennedy. Turn right at Church (The Church will be on your right). Follow road, go straight through roundabout, past GAA pitches on right & continue up the hill for 4.5 km. Continue to top of hill, opposite a left-hand turn signpost, is a small cul-de-sac (lane). Turn right here to arrive at our gate.
Heading North towards Dublin
on M11/N11, take Exit 16 R772 for Ashford and follow road into village. Use your SatNav from here. After you cross over the bridge, take a left at the roundabout. Follow this round for 6.5km, take a right at Ballyduff Cross, signposted for Newtownmountkennedy L1051 road. Approx 2km just after a Y in the road you will see a left turn into a lane. Turn Left this will bring you to our gate.
(Our Eircode A63 DX08 will take you on the correct route once you follow our directions above.
Open gate, come in and close gate securely after you enter. Follow signs to car park.
