Kells St Patrick’s Day Festival 2017

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Style this year. Join in on  the streets of historical Kells Town in the heart of Meath for what is planned to be an extravaganza of colour and  family fun. For this St. Patrick’s Festival week come with your parents, guardians, cousins, friends, family, and neighbours etc to Kells where they have a great week of exciting activities lined up for you.

Plenty of music and craic is promised as well as floats and walking groups as well as live music. People are being asked to come along, dressed as leprauchans as there will be a ceili on the street after the parade.

On St Patricks Day at 14.00 on Street Entertainment starts with lots of Street Theatre, your favourite cartoon characters and lots more.

The main Kells St Patrick’s Day Parade starts on the Cavan Road along side Super Valu at 15.00 with lots with lots of marching bands and colourful floats. Walking past SupeValu & the Fair Green, down Canon Street turning onto Suffolk Street, turning at Centra walking up Farrell Street and down Kenlis Place( back Street ). Turning at Credit Union and up John Street, past the viewing stand at Paddy Powers and up Carrick Street. Finishing at the Fair Green!

Kells is gearing up again for a huge street party on St. Patricks Day.
