Nore Valley Park Open Farm
Nore Valley Park Open Farm Kilkenny has operated as an open pet farm and caravan park since 1989 and attracts many families and groups each year. There are a whole variety of animals to see and enjoy.
The farm is a nostalgic trip to the past or a new experience in the idyllic Nore Valley. You can take time out and stroll around the farm, allow the children to play in an interactive and relaxing setting. Bottle feed lambs or goats and feed ducks and turkeys as well as learn about your Irish heritage of farming.
As well as animals to see at Nore Valley Park Open Pet Farm there is a playground, sandpit with diggers, straw play area and Giant chess to keep the children entertained. You can relax with a cup of tea and home baked scone or biscuits. There is also a picnic area to enjoy.
Even in wet weather there is still plenty of fun to be had, with indoor facilities to amuse the entire family. You can stay as long as you like – a few hours or the whole day.

Nore Valley Park Open Farm School Tours
School tours at Nore Valley Park are not only great fun for the children but also active, educational and affordable. Children are taken by experienced guides around the farm to learn about all the different animals. They provide a safe hands-on approach and include bottle feeding baby lambs or goats, and cuddling baby rabbits.
Group packages suitable for youth groups, scouts, guides, schools and birthday parties. Enjoyed by adults as well as children, these can include any combination of the following:

Nore Valley Camping And Caravan Park
Nore Valley Camping And Caravan Park is an award winning family run site which is located in a quiet, peaceful valley and is personally supervised at all times. A high standard of cleanliness is a priority throughout site and amenities.
There are Free showers and hot water. It is situated on the Nore Valley Pet Farm. Patrons have free access to the farm and children are encouraged to assist in animal feeding.
There is lots to do with river walk through farm and woodland, children’s play area, sandpit with diggers and chess all free. Also at extra charge poolroom, crazy golf, pedal go-karts, trailer rides and 3D indoor maze. Within10 km swimming, fishing, canoeing, golf, craft shops, horse riding and many historical sites.

Season Event in Nore Valley Park Open Farm
Easter Egg Hunt
Hunt far and wide around the farm for hidden eggs, and claim your sweets and chocolates as a reward!
The Easter Egg Hunt will take place for day visitors to the farm between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 31st March 2024 from 10am – 4pm
Now open on Sundays
Egg Hunt tickets need to be booked online for all children taking part in the egg hunt

Take R700 to Bennettsbridge. Just before bridge turn right at sign, then after 3.2km turn left at sign
From Waterford
From M9 exit at junction 9 and take the road signposted Stoneyford. At next junction turn left signposted Nore Valley Park, after a further 3km the entrance is signposted on the right.
