Sligo Folk Park is back with with their very own Winter Wonderland Christmas Spectacular – Santa Town – An unmissable event suitable for the young and the old to enjoy!
Are you excited for this Christmas season?
Well, join Sligo Folk Park and enjoy Santa’s Elves Live stage performance and get introduced to a suprise selection of Santa’s other jolly Christmas friends in the build up to Santa’s big day
An illuminated “Santatown” sign beckoned visitors at the gate and the Christmas atmosphere was set to introduce all families willing to experience a fun-filled Christmas season!
The village itself joined in the spirit of the occasion and suitably decorated their homes, premises and streets setting the scene for what was to prove a really spectacular occasion
Once you have entered The Street, you will be treated to a humorous show on stage provided by Santa’s elves
Once Santa arrives on the scene, the Folk Group and the Church of Ireland Choir entertained the gathering with lively Christmas songs and carols
The children will then get a chance to meet the jolly man himself, Santa Claus, at his cosy Grotto and if on their best behavior can receive a special gift from the Santa himself!
There has been a great response by all involved and interested and due to the succes of the event, spaces are selling out fast!
