The School of Magic Easter Camp Course

The course is inspired by magicians like Dynamo, David Blaine and Derren Brown. With content devised by Keith Barry himself, it will prove to be an amazing week. Students aged 7-16 years will learn about all facets of the craft including street magic, stage shows and close-up routines. They will learn secrets of the trade that cannot be found online!

Children will be separated into age appropriate groups. No previous knowledge of magic is needed and age appropriate magic will be taught.

Each day will excite, inspire and surprise as they delve into card magic, mind reading, coin tricks, optical illusions, rope magic, science magic, levitation, balloon modelling, close-up & street magic. Phew.

The students will also learn about the important elements of a successful routine such as scripting and of course, showmanship!

By the end of the week, students will be equipped with the skills to amaze friends and family with their own show of around 10 scripted tricks that they will have learned and crafted over the 5 days.

Every student will also receive a personalised magic set containing professional quality playing cards and props to keep and re-use after the course has been completed.
