Teenage Stage Summer School is an exciting advanced residential course that offers 11 to 19 year olds an intensive, musical theatre week with a “Broadway Jr”show brought to life from PAGE TO STAGE in seven inspiring days. The students have the chance to literally eat, sleep and drink theatre in seven inspirational days over the summer holiday.
Superb facilities and support from Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance at NUI Galway, the course gives today’s young performer an educationally enriching experience and a wonderful holiday. Students live in single-gender boarding houses under care of an experienced Centre Manager who acts in loco parent is and is responsible for the development and welfare of each student.
They will get quality professional training with caring and experienced garda vetted teachers and with 24 hour secured supervision.
Teenage Stage Summer School Course
The course is small and friendly, and the Galway location offers a perfect backdrop for an exciting summer. Each day is structured to give a true taste of drama school life. Classes with three professional directors each morning, group and company workshops, rehearsal in afternoons, fun activities, quizzes and excursions up to lights out!
Through practical training, educational trips and an exciting range of extra-curricular activities, students gain valuable skills, make lifelong friends and enjoy unforgettable memories from the courses.
This exclusive residential theatre programme is designed for boys and girls aged 11-13 (juniors) and 14-19 (seniors).
The course includes
