An Cnoc Ban Farm

An Cnoc Bán is a organic working farm in Spink, Co. Laois that run a range of seasonal activities camps and workshops for kids who want to learn about our culture, traditional skills and rural way of life.  Since Spring 2009 Cnoc Ban Farm have been providing a range of theoretical and practical courses for children in an enjoyable, engaging atmosphere with the emphasis on participation. They want to nurture awareness of and respect for the natural environment through our interactive approach to learning.

An Cnoc Ban Kids Workshop

They run camps and workshops for children during the school holidays and mid-term breaks which are linked to traditional themes and natural farming rhythms of the seasons such as St. Brigid's Day, Shrove Tuesday, Bealtaine, Mid Summer, Harvest, Samhan/Halloween and Christmas. In these activities the numbers are limited to  ensure full participation and individual attention.
The Baking, Crafts and Nature workshops can be  tailored to small groups from pre-primary and primary schools.

Halloween Fun

Each day is a fun day filled with seasonal baking including Barm Brack, creative craft making and spooky decorations. Samhan stories and traditional Hallow E'en games add to the childrens enjoyment.

Dates / Time :-  26 - 29 October  /   Daily Workshops (4 –8yrs  &  9 - 12yrs)

• Spooky Arts and Crafts 11.00 - 13.00
• Halloween baking 13.30 - 15.30

Family Fun Tip:- Children should wear their old clothes, bring wellies and rain gear. Fancy dress costumes optional.

Christmas Fun

Children can enjoy themselves in a fun atmosphere,  creating some seasonal cards and crafts to bring home to keep or give  as a gift.

Children can make their own individual  Christmas Bakes which they can take home to share with their family.

Birthday Parties AT The An Cnoc Ban Farm

Let them arrange the birthday party for you , so you don't have to worry about planning, organising, entertaining and cleaning up. They can provide a child's  customised birthday party with different activity options for small groups. You can choose from Baking, Make your own Pizza, Card making , Crafts, Green Wellies. They can also include party food and drinks and/or a novelty birthday cake. Creative Invitations, Face Painting and Party Bags are optional extras.
