Irish National Sailing School and Camps

The Irish National Sailing School is a Junior Sailing Schools providing classes and sailing camps from their based on the West Pier, Dun Laoghaire, in county Dublin. During the peak season they also operate from the summer base at Seapoint Beach. Since the establishment of the Irish National Sailing School in the 1970s, they have provided sail training and camps for over 70,000 trainees. The team still have a tremendous zest for the sport and enjoy nothing more than seeing a beginner get to grips with the skills of sailing. 

The Irish National Sailing School is generally regarded as Ireland's foremost sailing school and provide an extensive fleet of sailing vessels, modern comfortable facilities and the highest calibre personnel available. Even the most absolute of beginners can learn to sail with confidence in only two weeks. Other activies include Kayaking, Raft Building and Powerboat Trips.

All their programmes are relaxed, friendly and affordable and they pride themselves on the success rate of their students and provide certified courses to the most advanced levels.

So if you have never sailed before or wish to develop your skills, now is the ideal opportunity. Getting out on the water, sailing from a beach and seeing the seals in Dun Laoghaire Harbour, with maybe also a chance to see the dolphins in Dublin Bay.

They are open 7 days a week from 9.00 - 17.00 and cater for kids ages between 7 and 18 years of age.

You are assured of a good time where you will meet new friend and have many memorable moments at the Irish National Sailing School. 

 

February Mid-Term Sailing Camp 

 
Irish National Sailing School are pleased to announce the February Mid Term Camp for 2012.  The programme for the week will run on Squib Yachts, 1720 Sportsboats and Powerboats, so while participants will be 'on the water', no one will be 'in the water' - thus keeping everyone as warm as can be. They ask you to book as soon as possible to hold your place!
 

Dates:- Monday 13 to Friday 17 February / 9.00 - 17.00

Admission: €179

Easter Camps 

The Irish National Sailing School Easter Sailing Camps are the perfect time to brush off those winter cobwebs and prepare yourself for the long summer sailing season ahead. Children are divided into their respective age groups for this camp with all levels catered for, frombeginner to advanced.

Dates:- Tuesday 10 - Friday 13 of April / 9.00 - 17.00

Admission: €154

Fun Birthday Party On The Sea

Want to Celebrate your Birthday party in a different way, well the Irish National Sailing School is the place to go  where you'll have a day to remember! They offer two types of Birthday Party Packages.
 

Kayak Outing

 
Explore the coastline from the Seapoint Beach Base in a fleet of Sea Kayaks. Over the course of the party you  will paddle towards Blackrock from Seapoint, stopping off on the way down for the obligatory jump in and splash the instructor game!
All participants will receive our 'Introduction to Kayaking' Certificate upon completion of the day.
 
Once the water activities are complete it will be back to the Clubhouse where party can begin! They would be delighted to host your party this year. Typically parties are run on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, but they can accomodate after school events upon request.
Prices: From €20 per person. There is a minimum charge of €180 per party.
 

Sea Tour Outing

 
This high octane trip around Dublin Bay aboard the fleet of High Speed RIBs is extremely popular! Setting off from Dun Laoghaire, they will stop off for a spot of exploring on Dalkey Island before heading around into Killiney Bay for a look and then you will make your way across Dublin Bay towards Dublin Port, taking in the beauty of the South Dublin Coastline while speeding along at 40mph!
