St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations at the Cliffs of Moher

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience are inviting you, your friends and family to visit them and join in as they celebrate Ireland’s National Holiday. The celebrations will kick off on Saturday the 14th March with Free Face Painting in the visitor centre between 1pm and 3pm. The noble Sir Cornelius O’Brien will be on hand to tell you historical local stories from the past that will amaze you and watch out for ‘Grainne the Goat’ and ‘Podge the Puffin’ who will be floating about adding to the atmosphere of fun and festivities.

Without a doubt, this will be a great day out for all the family.

Jigs and Reels  on Sunday 15th March

It will be jigs and reels at the Cliffs to kick off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Lively traditional Irish music with a view of majestic Cliffs. Here you will be completely immersed in Irish culture, heritage and surrounded by some of the most astounding views that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer. The cave- like eco-friendly visitor centre will be decorated in green, white and orange to create a party atmosphere. There will be free Face Painting for children between 1pm and 3pm. Not forgetting that it is Mothers Day, they will have a free Cliffs of Mocha Coffee for all Mums and Grandmothers in the Cliffs View Café. A magical leprechaun hat will make an appearance with some fabulous spot prizes including Champagne Lunch for two in the Armada Hotel and a Cliffs of Moher Cruise for two adults courtesy of Doolin2Aran Ferries.

St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 17th March

On the day that everyone wants to be Irish, savour St. Patrick’s Day at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience. The building will be tastefully decorated with daffodils and shamrock and there will be lots of treats in store for everyone to enjoy such as chocolates, prizes and green candies. To add colour and fun to the celebrations, free face painting will be available for children and adventurous grown-ups alike between 1pm and 3pm.St Patricks Day11R

Why not take the family along for a visit to the Cliffs after your local parade for some special photographic opportunities?

Enliven your senses with an invigorating walk along the Cliffs. Afterwards, indulge in some truly wholesome Irish fayre in the Cliffs View Café. The menu will have a green theme; Ham and Pea soup for starters, traditional Irish Bacon & Cabbage for mains and to finish off with something sweet, try Cliffs of Moher green fairy cakes.

Throughout the period, there will be opportunities to meet and have your photograph taken with Cliffs of Moher characters like Sir Cornelius O’Brien, Podge the Puffin and Grainne the Goat.

No booking is required and all additional entertainment during this period is included in the cost of entry.
