Slieve Aughty Centre invite you to experience the Halloween spirit like never before. This year, they are brewing up fresh delights and renewing their offerings for an unforgettable celebration!
New Themed Scary Rooms:
Step into the stables for eerie story readings. Children will get a sneak peek through a curtain into spine-chilling scenes that are sure to set their imaginations ablaze!
Scary Face Painting:
Transform into your favourite Halloween character with their spooky face-painting booth. Add a creative flair to your festival look!
Cosy Fireside Fun:
Gather ’round the warm, crackling fires to share spooky tales and warm your hands, it’s the perfect way to embrace the autumn chill.
Self-Guided Nature Walk:
Embark on an enchanting stroll to the Enchanted Forest, where spooky surprises await you.
Pony Games Ride:
Add an extra dash of fun with a pony game ride! Balance an eyeball on a spoon and conquer other quirky challenges in a thrilling 10-minute adventure—who can resist?

Family Holidays At The Slieve Aughty Centre
Most people come to Slieve Aughty Centre in Galway and wish they could stay longer. With that in mind, book family holidays or short breaks for families. During the day, try horse riding through the scenic forestry surrounding the centre, and the trails are great for walking and cycling too.

Entry Fee: – Children (2-16 yrs): €15
– Adults and older teens: €5
– Babies & carers: FREE
– Arena Pony rides (ages 4-12): Included in entry fee!
– Groups of 10 children or more receive a 10% discount!
Festival Hours: Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st of November inclusive
Bookings are available from 12pm – 3pm
Cafe is Open 12pm – 5pm
